Cox Kibedi, a 48-year-old resident residing on Kyanja Ring Road, has been remanded in Luzira until February 2, 2024, facing three charges of cyber harassment. The allegations are related to purportedly sharing an explicit video link on Facebook, targeting Agaba Rebecca. This led to Kibedi appearing before Buganda Road Chief Magistrate Samuel Kayiizi.

During the court proceedings, Kibedi contested the charges, asserting that Facebook operates beyond Uganda, rendering the accusations baseless. Despite his denial, the magistrate ordered his remand for further investigations.

This incident marks not the first involvement of Kibedi, as records reveal a history of inappropriate behavior towards women dating back to 2021. He is accused of persistently harassing and mistreating women who reject his advances, frequently resorting to offensive language. Allegations include labeling them as such.
